Dr. Sanchez has extensive experience in child, adolescent, adult psychotherapy, adult psychoanalysis and psychopharmacology.

He has treated acute and chronic patients in different setting including his private practice, outpatient clinics, crisis stabilization units and inpatients units.

Dr. Sanchez is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Clinical Assistant Attending at Columbia University Medical Center – New York Presbyterian Hospital and Faculty at the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.  He supervises the clinical work of Psychology Externs and Interns (PhD students), Psychiatry Residents, Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers and Young Psychiatrists.
